About Darren Naftal Architecture in Malvern
Darren Naftal: Architect and Director B. Architecture (honours) University of Melbourne, 1997. ARBV/AIA From the age of ten, Darren dreamed of being an Architect. With a father who is a builder, he has been on building sites since he was five years old. Having made the move from Lego blocks to concrete blocks, he continues to live and breathe Architecture.
After several years gaining experience with well regarded Architectural firms, he began DN Architecture in 2001, with the sole purpose of using his creativity, knowledge and passion to bring to life his clients dream homes. Darren’s work has received awards, been published in several magazines and exhibited by the Australian Institute of Architects. With highly site responsive, resourceful and inventive designs he has obtained planning approval for every one of his projects, a success rate virtually unheard of in the industry. With a fine eye for quality and detail, every design explores new ideas, and are always beautiful, elegant, and functional.
He strives to achieve what he considers the ultimate measure of a designs success: timelessness. The thoroughness of his drawings communicates his designs with the utmost clarity, and earns him the respect and praise of builders, engineers and councils he works with. Those who benefit most though, are his clients. “To see their enormous smiles once they’ve moved in and hear of their love of their new home, is the ultimate reward for me”.
